The show at the empty bottle went over pretty well considering a few obstacles thrown in. One being that Chiyoko was loosing her voice as she barreled through the set with a lot more raspyness than usual. Some people even liked it saying she sounded like Marianne Faithful. Greg added more movement to Sweeder´s stage show, which was great addition. All in all a very favorable evening for all participants.

The mastering of Sweeder´s debut CD (working title Swallowed By The Sun) is near finished and artwork is on it´s way. Projected release date is April 18, 2000.

Sweeder will appear at the end of March as part of the Asian American Showcase, which features bands including members of our local Asian American rock-lot. This event will take place at the Beat Kitchen (now reopened after closing due to a fire) on March 31st. The event and performers scheduled are as follows:
